Not sure if we've picked our league yet but TWL is getting populated and starting matches. Hopefully some more .eXe-folk pick it up for Christmas.

54 teams for CTF, 38 for S&D and 28 for TDM. Looks like matches started around Dec. 11th so after the holidays I think we should figure out how many additional people we need for the team and join a ladder.

I installed the beta and got wierd DX9 issues on Vista -- which runs DX10. I tried extracting the "missing" file from the DX9 pckages into the Windows/sys32 folder to no avail. I would love to check this game out, but I don't feel good about buying a game when I can't get the demo to run... Fucking thing...

When the demo was released I got the DX error (XP) which was resolved by installing the latest version of DX9. I just did a full install instead of trying to get specific files.

Noose is running COD on Vista so maybe he can offer more help. FWIW they had a retail patch within a week after the North American release.

dont mean 2 bust ur balls or anythin boss but i believe the beta version no longer works =\. maybe the singleplayer!?!?!?!? but the online feature is gone.

You should at least be able to troubleshoot the DX issue with the beta. However once you get it set up, you won't be able to play.

I got a pirated version to start with just to check out the gameplay (single player). Bought it a few days later and I'm glad I did. I like the twitch sci-fi games like UT and Quake better, but for recent releases the COD community is exponentially larger. Even when you just want to kill for like 20 minutes you can find any gametype on any map to play.
